This is a fun project that investigates different options to afford shade for outdoor learning at a local private school. We considered not only the experience of the users who would need refuge from the harsh sun but also wanted to understand how the roof structure would read from the street. Elsewhere on the campus, Loman McNamara designed and constructed a playful playground restroom facility for its pre-school and elementary school students.
