Modern Comfort.

This San Francisco residence was transformed by a full-gut renovation and a 3rd story addition. An interior courtyard with a circular, glazed wall defines a breakfast niche, provides light, and serves as a focal point to the project. A monumental stair and elevator core connect all floors. The modern, open floorplan allowed for different spaces to flow into one another while the use of ceiling elements help define the spaces below. This project was completed while working at Peter Engel, Architect.
